fix: quickstart builds the venv on the running Python - #864

Conversation
Without --python, uv venv picked the newest Python satisfying requires-python. In CI that was a uv-managed 3.15, which has no pyarrow wheels, so the streamlit quickstart tests failed building from source. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>

The integration tests on
mainare failing (example). In 13test_quickstart.pytests,uv syncfails while buildingpyarrowfrom source.Cause: without
--python, quickstart writesrequires-python = ">=3.13"(based on the running interpreter), then runs a bareuv venv. uv then uses the newest Python that satisfies that range. In CI,posit-dev/with-connecthad just installed a uv-managed CPython 3.15 for its own tool. pyarrow has no 3.15 wheels yet, so uv tried to build it from source and failed. Users who have a newer Python installed would hit the same problem.Fix: without
--python, quickstart now runsuv venv --python <sys.executable>, so the venv uses the same interpreter thatrequires-pythoncame from. If--pythonis given, uv still picks an interpreter fromrequires-python, as before. Also adds tests for the interpreter passed to
uv venvand a changelog entry.🤖 Generated with Claude Code
