Both build checks spent much of their time installing TeX Live and building doxybook2. They now start from pandoc/latex:latest-ubuntu with only the extra TeX packages the manuals need.

  • Docs Build Test: use the doxybook2 release binary; drop the broken Japanese font download
  • Docker Docs Build Test: build doxybook2 in a parallel stage and run the manual builds with make -j

The build check now runs in pandoc/latex:latest-ubuntu and adds only
the few TeX packages the manual headers use, instead of installing
texlive-full from apt and building doxybook2 through vcpkg.

- install the doxybook2 v1.5.0 release binary
- add titlesec, tocloft, fvextra, listings and fancyhdr with tlmgr
- drop the Japanese font download, which fetched HTML pages
- move actions/checkout to v4 and drop the PATH exports

The Docker build now starts from pandoc/latex:latest-ubuntu and adds
only the TeX packages the manual headers use. CI runs the per-manual
docker builds in parallel.

- build the dgarske doxybook2 fork in its own stage so it runs
  alongside the builder setup
- move actions/checkout to v4
