Previously, clicking empty space outside a suggestion in a **TinyMCE AI** preview did nothing. The last selected suggestion stayed highlighted, its context toolbar stayed on screen, and during a review the matching card in the Review sidebar stayed selected. The only way to clear the selection was to select a different suggestion. Users could not get a clear view of the proposed content, and the context toolbar could cover nearby text.

In {productname} {release-version}, clicking anywhere in the preview outside a suggestion clears the active selection. The **TinyMCE AI** plugin closes the context toolbar and, during a review, removes the highlight from the card in the Review sidebar.
