Description

The Vector container created by v2::product_logging::framework::vector_container now starts Vector with the wrapper script /stackable/bin/vector-with-env-var-interpolation instead of calling vector directly.

Vector 0.57.0 disabled the interpolation of environment variables in configuration files by default, while the generated vector.yaml uses ${...} placeholders for the log directory and file names, the log levels, the role group the Pod belongs to, and the address of the Vector aggregator. The wrapper script re-enables the interpolation by passing --dangerously-allow-env-var-interpolation to Vector. The product image must contain this script, which is the case for images with Vector 0.58.0 or later.
