Fixes the TeamDynamix out-of-the-box dashboards showing wrong numbers on a production tenant (-704 totals, "Open" equal to "On Hold", 1900 dates), and hardens the plugin for large tenants. Everything was verified with squaredup test against two live TeamDynamix data sources (production and sandbox) of a real customer, read-only.
Root causes fixed
Tile parameters were ignored. All 16 parameterised tiles set them in dataStream.config; they now use dataStream.dataSourceConfig. "Open" and "On Hold" both counted every ticket.
Location counts were -1.GET /api/locations never loads counts. The stream now uses POST /api/locations/search with ReturnItemCounts, and any remaining -1 is nulled.
Unset dates showed as 12/31/1900. TeamDynamix sends 0001-01-01T00:00:00 for every unset date. All scripts now blank dates before 1901.
Unset names showed as "None". TeamDynamix sends the literal name None for an unset manufacturer, model, location, department or service. These are now blank.
Unassigned work was an unlabelled bar. Empty assignee and group now read (Unassigned).
CIs duplicated assets. Configuration items that only mirror an asset (BackingItemType 27) are dropped, so CI means a standalone item. BackingItemType 87 (service offering, not in the published enum) now has a label.
Switch parameters left unset arrived as null and sent the opposite filter (the CMDB stream returned inactive items, assets out-of-service ones). All switches now treat null as unset.
Improvements
Ticket Count and Asset Count streams read TotalCount from the paged searches (one small request each), and the Service Desk and Assets count tiles use them. On the test tenant an application with ~6,500 open tickets previously showed 2,000.
Group(s) filter on Tickets and Ticket Count: an objects picker over the imported groups, sent as PrimaryResponsibilityGroupIDs.
Inventory import is opt-in. Applications and groups are always imported. Assets, configuration items, accounts and locations import only with the new Import assets, configuration items, accounts and locations toggle (Advanced options, off by default). Nothing in the plugin's tiles or dashboards uses those objects, and they were about 93% of the graph objects on the test tenant. With the toggle on, the CMDB import pages through cmdb/search/paged (250 per page) instead of loading one unpaged response, which ran out of memory on a CMDB of ~49,000 asset mirrors.
Configuration item tiles cap the CMDB search at 10,000 items and explain the limit, instead of failing with Runtime.OutOfMemory.
Ticket rows are ~20% smaller (2.9 KB to 2.3 KB shaped). A 2,000-ticket tile was at ~5.6 MB of the 6.29 MB cap.
Services, knowledge base articles and projects only offer client portal or project applications in the picker (matching on the imported appClass), which removes the 404s from picking the wrong application type.
Errors: the handler guards a missing response and explains 404s with TeamDynamix's own message.
The ten snapshot streams declare the "none" timeframe.
README: count streams, measured limits, Troubleshooting. CODEOWNERS entry for the plugin.
All with squaredup test (local streams against the deployed 1.0.4 plugin's authenticated data sources), on both a production and a sandbox TeamDynamix data source. Nothing was deployed or imported in the customer tenant; results were summarised into counts in scripts.
Area
Result
Out-of-the-box tile parameters
Requests now carry the tile's status, date and service-state filters
Locations
704 / 686 locations, no -1; the busiest location's counts match a single-location load exactly
Unset dates and names
0001-01-01 on every unset ticket and asset date; None on up to 100% of some asset fields; none left after the change
Ticket Count
Matched paged TotalCount for open, on hold, created and closed in 30 days, and with one group (140 = 140 ticket rows)
Asset Count
49,364 = 48,171 in service + 1,193 out of service on the largest asset application
Group(s)
One group 140/140 rows, two groups 232/232, all rows in the selected groups; nothing selected sends no filter
CMDB
Standalone items only, identical sets from the paged import stream and the unpaged tile stream on every multi-page application; 10,000-item guard gives a readable error in ~12 s on the 49,000-item CMDB
Inventory import toggle
Off: one request per step matching nothing, CMDB stops after one page. On (forced in a scratch copy): every import stream returns the same IDs as its tile stream
Sandbox paths
/SBTDWebAPI, /SBTDNext and /SBTDClient confirmed; sandbox links built correctly
Permissions
No 401/403 on any stream; every service, knowledge base and project picker entry returns data
Expressions
All 47 {{ }} expressions unit-tested in node with unbound, null, empty, single and multiple values
squaredup validate
Passes
Not verified: a full import run with the toggle on (no deploy or import in the customer tenant), tile editor warnings for the "none" timeframes, and the token format returned by loginadmin (the diagnostics redact it; both data sources authenticate).
⚠️ Breaking changes
Does this PR introduce any breaking changes?
No
Yes (please describe):
The plugin has two known users, both expecting these changes, so it stays in v1. Moderators may prefer a v2 folder.
Imported objects: after upgrading, the next import removes TeamDynamix Asset, Configuration Item, Account and Location objects unless Import assets, configuration items, accounts and locations is turned on. Custom dashboards scoped to those objects need the toggle. Out-of-the-box dashboards don't use them.
Configuration items no longer include items that mirror an asset, and a CI tile on a CMDB over 10,000 items now shows an explanatory error.
Ticket columns removed:requestorEmail, respondByDate, goesOffHoldDate, isSlaRespondByViolated, estimatedMinutes, formName, refCode. Custom tiles using them lose those columns.
Values: unset assignee and group read (Unassigned) instead of empty; None names and placeholder dates are now blank.
Pickers: services and knowledge base streams only offer client portal applications, projects only project applications.

Plugin, datastream and UI naming follow SquaredUp guidelines
Review against the LCP checklist, verified on two live data sources:
- Ticket Count and Asset Count streams read TotalCount from the paged
searches, so the Service Desk and Assets count tiles are exact instead
of stopping at Maximum records (an app with 6,500 open tickets showed
2,000).
- Ticket rows trimmed from ~2.9 KB to ~2.3 KB shaped by dropping
requestor email, respond-by and goes-off-hold dates, estimate, form
and reference code.
- Configuration item tiles cap the CMDB search at 10,000 and explain the
limit, instead of running out of memory on a CMDB of asset mirrors.
- "None" placeholder names are blanked in tickets, assets and CIs.
- Services, knowledge base and project streams only offer client portal
or project applications, which fixes 404s from the wrong app type.
- Error handler guards a missing response and explains 404s.
- typeof guards on optional stream parameters.
- README: count streams, measured limits, Troubleshooting.
- CODEOWNERS entry for TeamDynamix.

Walkthrough
The TeamDynamix plugin adds conditional inventory index streams and count streams, updates search filters and response processing, and rewires dashboard tiles to use the new count streams. The README, plugin metadata, and CODEOWNERS file are also updated.
Adds hidden index streams for accounts, assets, configuration items, and locations. Adds the importInventory setting and connects index definitions to the new streams. The README documents the import setting, stream behavior, and related limits.
Search filters and count streams plugins/TeamDynamix/v1/dataStreams/*.json, plugins/TeamDynamix/v1/dataStreams/scripts/assetCount.js, plugins/TeamDynamix/v1/dataStreams/scripts/ticketCount.js
Updates stream search, filters, source matching, and timeframe settings. Adds asset and ticket count streams. Ticket searches gain group filtering and updated status and date handling.
Response normalization and error handling plugins/TeamDynamix/v1/dataStreams/scripts/*.js, plugins/TeamDynamix/v1/dataStreams/scripts/errorHandling/rateLimit.js
Normalizes selected dates, names, and location counts. Configuration-item processing accepts direct-array and paged responses and filters asset-backed items. Error handling adds missing-response and 404 messages.
Asset count tiles use assetCount. Service desk scalar tiles use ticketCount; dashboard source-specific filters use dataSourceConfig.

Explanation
The title names the TeamDynamix plugin and three changes that appear in the changeset: dashboard tile fixes (tile parameters moved to dataSourceConfig, count tiles now use the new streams), exact counts (new ticketCount and assetCount streams reading TotalCount), and the opt-in inventory import toggle (new importInventory UI setting and the import streams gated on it). It is specific and matches the main objectives. It is long (73 characters) and lists three items, so it is slightly dense, but it is related to the changeset and is not vague.
