Purpose / problem solved: Brings a Resend team into SquaredUp. It covers email delivery and engagement metrics, sending domain health and DNS records, recent sent and received emails, API activity, broadcasts, automations, webhook delivery, inboxes, suppressions and contacts. The plugin is read-only.
Primary audience: Developers, product and platform teams who send transactional or marketing email through Resend.
Authentication method(s): A Resend API key with Full access, sent as a Bearer token. A Sending access key can't read account data, and setup validation says so.
Objects: Domain, Segment, Broadcast, Webhook, Automation and Inbox. An object type is only imported if it has a dashboard or a relationship.
Contacts: not indexed. A marketing list can hold far more contacts than an import can carry, and they're personal data. The Contacts data stream covers them.
Topics and Templates: not indexed, because the API gives neither any per-object data or relationship to build on. Their data streams remain for tables.
Relationships (correlation rules):
A Broadcast is sent to its Segment.
An Inbox receives on the Domain its address belongs to.
Data streams (22):
Email Metrics: one configurable stream. It returns hourly, daily, weekly or monthly periods, or totals, and can be filtered to or broken down by domain or broadcast. Resend does the filtering and grouping.
Recent activity: Sent Emails, Received Emails, API Logs and Webhook Events. Resend has no date filter on these lists, so the plugin reads newest-first and stops at the start of the timeframe. On very busy teams it stops after about 20 seconds of paging and returns the newest rows rather than timing out.
Per object: Domain Records, Broadcast Recipients (choose the event: delivered, opened, clicked, bounced…), Broadcast Clicked Links, Automation Runs and Inbox Details.
Paging: Resend pages by "after the last row's id", which declarative paging can't express. A shared list.js sets the cursor, using the same pattern as NinjaOne. Older list endpoints return everything when limit is left out, so they don't page.

Default dashboards
All dashboards are SmartViz. Object rows (domains, webhooks, automations, broadcasts, sending by domain) click through to the object's perspective.
Overview:
Sending KPIs, and delivery, open and click rate rings.
Email volume, and a Sent → Delivered → Opened → Clicked funnel.
Domain, webhook and automation health grids.
Sending by domain sparklines.
API traffic by outcome, and recent API errors.
Suppressions by origin, API keys (highlighted once idle for 30 or 90 days) and broadcasts.
Perspectives:
Domain: status, KPIs, volume, funnel, details, DNS records with verification status, and recent emails.
Broadcast: status, performance, funnel, top clicked links, and clicked, bounced and unsubscribed recipients.
Segment: details, contact count, an unsubscribed ring coloured by unsubscribe share, contacts and broadcasts.
Webhook: details, delivery status, deliveries per day by status, failed deliveries and events by type.
Automation: details, run status, run duration, failed runs and recent runs.
Inbox: unread threads, drafts and details, which click through to the inbox's domain.
🧪 Test plan
Deployed to a dev organization and connected to a real Resend team. The team has 5 verified sending domains, sent emails over the last month and API logs. During testing it gained 2 segments (one with 2 contacts), a draft broadcast targeting that segment, a topic, a template and an inbox. It has no webhooks, automations, sent broadcasts or received mail.
Checked live:
Setup: config validation passes with a Full access key.
Import:
It succeeds and lands Domains, Segments, Broadcasts and Inboxes. Webhooks and Automations return none but succeed.
It was re-run after each change to the import definition, including removing Topics and Templates.
Paging: the shared cursor script was proven across 3 pages (page size forced to 2 against API keys). API Logs paged across 2 pages, stopped at has_more: false and dropped rows outside the timeframe.
Email Metrics: default daily, totals, hourly over 24 hours and breakdown by domain all work.
The domain filter was tested on two domains, which returned different rows.
Rates are 0–100. Ranges are clamped to plan retention, and a range entirely outside it returns 422.
Sent Emails: newest-first paging and the timeframe cut work. The domain filter was tested on two domains, giving 1 row and 0 rows.
Domain Records: two domains returned different record sets.
Contacts: names display correctly, falling back to the email when a contact has no name. The segment filter and the unsubscribed counts work.
Broadcasts (against the draft):
Import, status, and the segment-name lookup all work. The Segment column is blank when no segment is set.
The segment filter was tested on two segments, giving 1 broadcast and 0.
Broadcast Recipients and Broadcast Clicked Links return 200 against the real broadcast, with 0 rows as expected for a draft.
Inboxes: the inbox imports, and its derived domain matches an imported Domain. Inbox Details returns unread threads, drafts, the forwarding address and the owning domain.
Correlation: the rules run, verified on a dev stage that attaches rules to existing data sources.
Dashboards: the Overview, Domain, Segment and Inbox dashboards were checked visually in the browser against live data. Every SmartViz spec and SQL query was validated, and the SQL tiles were previewed against live data.
Probes:
Segment metrics returns 404 (private beta), so it isn't used.
Read endpoints carry no quota headers.
The rate limit is 10 requests per second per team.
Not verified:
No webhooks or automations in the team:
Webhook Events and Automation Runs are proven only up to the request: a dummy id returns Resend's "not found".
Their Webhook and Automation perspectives haven't been viewed with data.
No sent broadcast:
Recipient and clicked-link rows haven't been seen.
The broadcast-filtered Email Metrics and the Broadcast perspective's charts have only been seen empty.
The broadcast breakdown column names (broadcast_id, broadcast_name) are assumed.
Received Emails: no data to check, because none of the team's domains has received mail.
⚠️ Known limitations
Metrics follow the plan's data retention: a range starting earlier is shortened, and one ending before retention (e.g. Last month on a short-retention plan) fails with Resend's "data retention window" error. Broadcast-filtered metrics are the exception.
Recent-activity streams cover up to 7 days: on very busy teams they return the newest rows found within about 20 seconds. Email Metrics covers longer trends.
Contacts filter by one segment: the API takes a single segment, so only the first selected is used. Very large lists may exceed the platform's response size limit.
Automation Runs ignore the timeframe: run order isn't documented, so all runs are returned, sorted newest first.
Open and click metrics need tracking turned on for the domain.
Cached responses: Resend caches metrics and broadcast recipient and clicked-link responses for up to 15 minutes.
Rate limit: 10 requests per second per team, shared with the team's own API usage.
Empty segments: the Segment dashboard's counts show "No data" rather than 0 for a segment with no contacts.
Read-only: the plugin never sends email or changes anything in Resend.

not directly parseable.
Review comments at @plugins/Resend/v1/dataStreams/webhooks.json:

use the same cursor-paging configuration and list.js post-request script as the
automations stream, preserving its existing endpoint and data path.
Review comments at @plugins/Resend/v1/docs/README.md:
- Line 77: Update the “Metrics follow your plan’s data retention” documentation
to clarify that the retention clamp does not apply when `broadcast_id` is set,
