Subnetting · DHCP · Static & dynamic routing · RIP & OSPF · ACLs, built hands-on in Cisco Packet Tracer
This repository collects everything I built in the Computer Networks Lab this trimester: a term-project enterprise network, the mid and final practical exams, and my command cheatsheets. Every project is a working Packet Tracer file (.pkt) with its router configs exported as plain text, a topology diagram, and a README explaining the design.
| Project | What it shows | Topology | |
|---|---|---|---|
| 01 | Term Project: UIU Enterprise Network | 6 routers, 6 switches, 32 hosts · 10.0.0.0 split into six /27 LANs and eight /30 WANs · RIP v2 + OSPF · DHCP on every LAN |
![]() |
| 02 | Mid Exam: VLSM, DHCP, Static Routing | VLSM carving of 192.168.101.0/24 into /25, /26, /27 · hub-and-spoke · DHCP pools · static routes |
![]() |
| 03 | Final Exam: RIP, DHCP, ACL | RIP v2 triangle across three LANs · extended ACL controlling ICMP to a server | ![]() |
| 04 | Cheatsheet & command reference | Exam cheatsheet (PDF) and a full IOS command reference |

- Addressing: classful and classless subnetting, VLSM, /27 LAN and /30 point-to-point planning with no overlap
- Routing: static and default routes, RIP v2, OSPF (process IDs, router-IDs, wildcard masks, area 0), and how administrative distance picks between protocols
- Services: DHCP pools with custom gateway and DNS
- Security: extended ACLs, rule ordering, interface placement
- Design: meshed enterprise topologies with redundant paths, hub-and-spoke layouts
- Method: step-by-step verification with
ping,show ip route,show ip protocols
- Install Cisco Packet Tracer 9.0 or newer (free through Cisco Networking Academy)
- Open any
.pktfile - Click a router → CLI tab →
show running-config(or read the exported text in eachconfigs/folder)

Note on the diagrams: topology images are generated directly from the
.pktfiles (devices, links, subnets, host counts) so they match the files exactly as submitted.
Published after the submission deadlines as a portfolio of my own work. If you are a student in this course, use it to understand the concepts, do not copy or submit it.
