The purpose applies across both companies. Snap Synapse is my active consulting and open-tool practice. PAICE.work PBC develops assessments, legal evidence infrastructure, and open collaboration patterns. I also host Signals & Subtractions as a distinct show under my name. The entities and projects have their own jobs and ownership; the shared question is how people and other intelligences can do better work together while expressed intent, evidence, disagreement, and human decisions remain visible.
When I need a capability, I look for existing open-source work first. I adopt it where it fits, contribute to it or build on it where I can, and build a new tool when the needed capability is still missing. Agentlink continues and credits Martin Mose Facondini's original project. PrompterKit builds on an MIT-licensed Elgato Prompter importer to solve a script-library problem I encountered; it is now maintenance-only. Harnessie grew from the need for enforceable agent-work verification and credits the open patterns it adopts. Each has its own scope; PrompterKit is a creator tool, not a claim that every utility measures the larger purpose.
- Client work and human capability: My YouTube certification and Convatec work are mapped in my resume evidence ledger. Named client references describe Snap Synapse's work. Some employer and client details require a reference check rather than a public repository.
- Open tools in use and under test: Harnessie releases, Agentlink's credited lineage, and PrompterKit's credited lineage show what shipped and what it builds upon. Skill Provenance is listed in Awesome OpenClaw Skills and redistributed with attribution. Listing and redistribution are reuse signals, not outcome studies.
- Contributions to others' work: Five of my pull requests were merged across Nate B. Jones' Open Brain and Ringer. They include Obsidian import, local Ollama embeddings, and the openbrain.fyi landing and deployment workflow.
- Public inquiry and decisions: Signals & Subtractions brings practitioners together around consequential AI choices, with an episode on Friday and a newsletter on Sunday; sessions are livestreamed when the format fits. I also publish field notes and longer writing. AIDR's ratification record shows recorded positions and human arbitration, including disclosed limits on reviewer independence.
- Applications and remaining questions: PAICE, EveryAILaw, and Siteline expose work a visitor can inspect. Their existence does not establish a portfolio-wide improvement in collaboration outcomes. The baseline for the larger moonshot remains to be measured.
