Summary

What's changed?

• Widen the supported Python range to >=3.9, <3.15 and add the Python :: 3.14 classifier
• Regenerate poetry.lock for the new range (no dependency versions changed)
• Add 3.14 to the pytest CI matrix
• Use Python 3.14 for the publish workflow and as the pre-commit default

Why do we need this?

Python 3.14 is out, and the current <3.14 constraint stops the package from being installed on it.

How have you tested it?

Ran the test suite and pylint locally on Python 3.14.10: all tests pass and pylint scores 10.00/10.

Details

Same approach as #130 (Python 3.13). The version number and CHANGELOG are left for the maintainers to update at release time.
