Regression: 1.15+ fails on macOS, while 1.14.4 works fine #432
Description
Versions of testgres prior to 1.15 work correctly on macOS. But with the shift to "internal_platform_utils", macOS no longer works in 1.15 or 1.16. Instead, you get NotImplementedError:

FWIW, patching
testgres.impl.platforms.internal_platform_utils_factory::create_internal_platform_utilsto return thewin32implementation (which appears to be basically no-ops) whenos_ops.get_platform()returns"darwin"lets our tests using testgres complete successfully on macOS with testgres 1.16.1dmitry-lipetsk commentedon Sep 22, 2026

Thanks for this notification.
I added a formal support of macos in #435 - for local operations only.
CI on macos is added, too.
New package will be released asap.
