This repository adopts Fast Forward Changelog 0.3.0 at verified commit 85474de5a16bb08f83c9f30e0ed72f331a210f07. The caller checks fragments, maintains PR feedback and prepares a reviewed version PR with the repository name and version transition. Automatic publication uses the reusable workflow's default only after the managed version PR is reviewed and merged; this adoption PR performs no publication.

Migrates all five existing Unreleased notes into independent fragments, preserving their text, categories and known PR references. Published release sections remain byte-for-byte unchanged. The CLI installed the complete project skill and native provenance receipt. Existing application tests, Wiki and other workflows are preserved.

Validation: actionlint, fragment validation and native skill integrity check passed. A read-only tag-based status preview succeeds. Full PHP tests were not run because application code did not change.

This deliberate history-format migration uses the human-maintenance label. Ordinary check --since=origin/main correctly rejects central-history edits without that trusted authorization; the PR must validate through its verified maintenance context.

The install preview reached GitHub's anonymous API limit (HTTP 403). The documented manual fallback copied the inspected 0.3.0 caller contract with the verified immutable reference; rerunning the official install command preserved it and installed the skill successfully.

Historical audit: every central version's note text matches its existing GitHub Release after boundary whitespace normalization. No remote release was edited.

Changes: Changelog adoption

Layer / File(s) Summary
Fragment contribution model
.agents/skills/fast-forward-changelog/*, AGENTS.md, CONTRIBUTING.md, .changelog/*.md, CHANGELOG.md
The new skill and contributor guidance describe changelog fragments and validation. CHANGELOG.md removes the Unreleased section, and six fragments record changes.
GitHub automation and release lifecycle
.github/workflows/changelog.yml, .agents/skills/fast-forward-changelog/SKILL.md, .agents/skills/fast-forward-changelog/references/automation.md
The workflow calls the reusable changelog workflow with scoped permissions and release settings. The skill and reference describe release verification, publication controls, and lifecycle checks.

Merge Risk: 🔵 Low · up to bd68e

This change moves changelog contributions to per-change fragments and adds release automation guidance. One example command in the bundled PHP guidance can check the wrong project directory if run from elsewhere. That is a minor documentation issue; it should be fixed upstream and the skill reinstalled. Otherwise the change is mergeable with low risk.

Run the CLI check against the example target.

The example passes /absolute/project, but the next command does not change directories. If the target differs from the current directory, check validates the wrong fragment inventory. The pinned release supports --cwd.

Apply this change upstream, then reinstall the skill. Do not edit the installed payload alone because php-api.md is integrity-tracked.

Review comment at @.agents/skills/fast-forward-changelog/references/php-api.md
at line 27:
Update the changelog check command in the fast-forward changelog reference to
pass the example target through the supported --cwd option, ensuring validation
runs against the same project target described earlier; apply the corresponding
upstream change and reinstall the skill rather than editing only the installed
integrity-tracked payload.
