Require Flask-Security-Too 5.8.3 or later for the open redirect fix - #10524
Conversation
5.8.3 fixes an open redirect in Flask-Security's default configuration (GHSA-ccgp-pv8r-95wm). The fix is also in 5.9.1, but 5.9 needs Python 3.11 or later and removes get_post_login_redirect(), which pgAdmin imports, so raise the lower bound within the 5.8 series instead.
WalkthroughThe Flask-Security-Too minimum version for Python versions above 3.9 changes from 5.8.2 to 5.8.3. Comments identify an open-redirect fix in version 5.8.3. ChangesFlask-Security-Too dependency

Raises the lower bound of the Flask-Security-Too pin (Python 3.10+) from 5.8.2 to 5.8.3, which fixes an open redirect in Flask-Security's default configuration (GHSA-ccgp-pv8r-95wm).
Dependabot proposed 5.9.1 for the same fix in #10514 and #10516, but 5.9 requires Python 3.11+ (we install on 3.10) and removes
flask_security.utils.get_post_login_redirect(), which pgAdmin imports, so this stays in the 5.8 series. The Python <= 3.9 pin (5.6.*) is unchanged, since 5.8.3 needs 3.10 or later. The authenticate regression tests pass locally with 5.8.3.
