The
nightlyrelease is reused by every master build, so it still shows its first publish date (2023-04-24), and the three build workflows all write into it at the same time.Master builds →
latestlatestrelease instead ofnightly. The tag and bleeding builds are unchanged.latestto the built commit.latestuploads usemake_latest: false, so the "Latest" badge stays onnightly.New
nightly.yml(02:00 UTC daily, plus a manual Run workflow button)latestinto a draft (nightly-staging).nightlyrelease and tag.nightlyatlatest's commit, titlednightly YYYY-MM-DDand marked Latest. The releases page then shows the date it was published. Because the files are uploaded to the draft before the swap,
releases/download/nightly/...is only missing for the few seconds between delete and publish. OF'sdownload_pg.sh,create_package.shandci/vs/install.shkeep working unchanged. If
latestdoesn't exist yet (before the first master build after this merges) or has no files, the job leaves the currentnightlyalone.Tested by running the script against a fork with test release names, twice. Each run created a new release with a new
published_at, copied both files, pointed the tag at the source commit, and left no drafts. The test releases were deleted afterwards.Note: the master build step from #662 currently fails on macOS (apothecary's arm64 OpenCV references KleidiCV, which isn't included in the package). Until that's fixed,
latestwon't get macOS files from master.
