Roadmap to GIL free implementation #23

@ShalokShalom

As you probably already know, does Python 3.12 support an experimental GIL free compilation, and since 3.12 a GIL per interpreter. modus.

Is there any plan, to adopt to that?

    We don't plan to focus on it at the moment, as it is still experimental and requires a custom built Python. We may revisit this once the APIs become stable. If anyone is interested and want to explore it before us, go ahead!

    @josevalim / @jonatanklosko I know you mentioned you don't plan to work on this but I created a PR that allowing us to explore the 3.14t version without breaking anything or changing the c layer.
    Let me know what you think

    It is possible as of #45. I added some extra docs in 14689ce.
