feat: return generation metadata with core results - #2206
Return owned media and native generation metadata together from the core APIs, with no result on failure. This changes the image, video, upscale, and ADetailer API signatures.
Centralize resolved parameter snapshots, recording per-image seeds and model filenames while omitting inactive options.
Support AVI, WebM, and Matroska metadata inspection through the CLI.
Generation results now include actual parameters and seeds, available in API responses and embedded image/video metadata.
CLI metadata inspection supports AVI, WebM, and Matroska alongside existing formats, with examples for video.
Image, video, upscale, and ADetailer generation APIs now return structured results, including generation metadata; video results also include FPS and audio.
Bug Fixes
Cancelled image generation no longer returns partial results.
Documentation
Added guidance on generation metadata, replay requirements, embedded metadata, and conversion limits.
Generation calls now return owned result objects that include generation metadata. The metadata records resolved request parameters and flows through postprocessing, CLI and server responses, and supported media formats. The CLI metadata inspector adds AVI, WebM, and Matroska support.

Summary
Resolve requests and build generation records src/pipeline/request.*, src/pipeline/generation.h, src/pipeline/image.cpp, src/pipeline/video.cpp, src/generation_info.*, src/pipeline/diffusion_engine.*, src/conditioning/conditioner.hpp
Generation requests now retain resolved sampling, model, VAE tiling, and seed state. Image and video pipelines use the resolved request to create generation metadata.
Generation, upscaling, and ADetailer APIs now return owned result structures. Image results carry per-image metadata; video results carry frames, audio, FPS, and generation metadata.
Store and embed generation metadata examples/common/generation_metadata.*, examples/common/resource_owners.hpp, examples/common/media_metadata.*, examples/common/media_io.*, examples/common/common.*, examples/cli/CMakeLists.txt, examples/server/CMakeLists.txt
Shared helpers convert and merge generation records, retain metadata with owned images, and embed metadata in supported image formats. CLI and server builds include the new helpers.
Propagate metadata through CLI and server examples/cli/main.cpp, examples/server/async_jobs.*, examples/server/routes_openai.cpp, examples/server/routes_sdapi.cpp, examples/server/routes_sdcpp.cpp, examples/server/runtime.cpp, examples/server/api.md
CLI and server generation paths now consume result objects. API responses expose generation metadata, and image encoding uses metadata from generated results.
Inspect media metadata and document the format examples/cli/image_metadata.cpp, examples/cli/README.md, docs/generation_metadata.md, docs/image_preprocessing.md
The CLI inspector adds Exif UserComment decoding and AVI, WebM, and Matroska parsing. Documentation describes result ownership, metadata fields, replay details, media embedding, inspection, and API responses.

Use the TIFF byte order as the default for BOM-less UTF-16 UserComment text.
parse_exif_user_comment defaults to big-endian when no BOM is present. It does not receive the byte order of the enclosing TIFF header. A file with a little-endian TIFF header (II) is a likely case, for example one rewritten by Exif tools. If it stores BOM-less UTF-16LE text, the code decodes it as big-endian. The output is then garbled text, or an invalid UTF-16 UserComment error.
The WebUI/piexif case still decodes correctly. As far as I know, piexif writes an MM header together with UTF-16BE text. This depends on the writer, so confirm it before you adopt the fix.
Pass little_endian from parse_exif_value as the default. Use the BOM only as an override.
- // WebUI's piexif writer uses big-endian UTF-16 without a BOM.- bool little_endian = false;+ // Without a BOM, assume the TIFF byte order. WebUI's piexif writer uses big-endian for both.+ bool little_endian = tiff_little_endian;
Update the call site at Line 502 to pass the TIFF byte order:
- value = tag == 0x9286 ? parse_exif_user_comment(data.data() + value_offset, count)+ value = tag == 0x9286 ? parse_exif_user_comment(data.data() + value_offset, count, little_endian)

* feat: update stable-diffusion.cpp to master-1017-be48649
Upstream now returns owned generation results (leejet/stable-diffusion.cpp#2206).
sd_dart_generate_image keeps its image-array contract: it moves the pixels
into an array free_sd_images frees and frees the rest of the result,
including generation_info, which holds prompts and model paths.
Records the consumer ABI delta, the long-call wrapper review and FP8
E4M3 controls: the CPU crash (#2139) reproduces on v0.2.0-4 and is gone
from v0.3.0 on; Metal aborts on FP8 weights on every runtime.
* Test generation success without images; document batch cancel under upstream 2206
