Staging SaveEpisode and Merge each decode every episode MP4 to rgb24 for video feature stats. Callers that compute those stats themselves (and overwrite them after Merge) pay for two full decodes of every high-res camera stream for nothing. StatsExternalVideo keeps numeric and image stats but skips video features, and Merge's aggregate/stats.json coverage checks only require keys this package computes. The public ValidateOutputIntegrity still requires video stats, so callers run it after writing their own.
