/exit  requires two attempts after resuming a session;  /exit print  quits immediately #5135

Description

Describe the bug

If I run the copilot CLI (in Ubuntu), and then switch to another session, it seems to "nest" sessions. So after one switch, I have to type /exit twice to exit back to the command line. It seems like I have to type /exit for as many sessions as I've switched to.

However, if I run "/exit print" it quits out to the command line immediately.

Affected version

GitHub Copilot CLI 1.0.97.

Steps to reproduce the behavior

  1. Launch  copilot  from the shell.
  2. Switch to an existing session
  3. enter  /exit . It takes a second  /exit  to return to the shell. Using  /exit print  returns to the shell immediately.

Expected behavior

Expected behavior is that /exit should quit from copilot back to the command line, like it indicates in the documentation.
