What changed

• Expand the dedicated Wi-Fi workspace into a one-click local scan showing the current connection, nearby access points, signal, channel, derived frequency/band, and reported authentication/encryption.
• Combine the AP scan with bounded private-subnet TCP checks and Windows ARP cache entries. Show IP, MAC when observed, TCP/ARP evidence, open selected ports, and response time where available.
• Add JSON and CSV export, partial-failure reporting, clear authorization messaging, and a Network Tools shortcut to the Wi-Fi tab.
• Document local setup and the limits of observed network data. The UI does not guess device names, vendors, models, or operating systems.

Important usage note

Actual Wi-Fi scanning requires the authenticated local Python API running on the Windows laptop. GitHub Pages can host the interface but cannot access the laptop's Wi-Fi adapter or private LAN. Scans are read-only and authorized private-network only; ARP entries may be stale and non-response does not prove a device is offline.

Verification

• Python syntax compilation passed for the changed API and tests.
• Inline dashboard JavaScript passed node --check.
• git diff --check passed when treating Windows CRLF as line endings.
• pytest could not run in this environment because pytest is not installed; unit tests use mocked command output and do not perform real scans.
