The Jira MCP cannot transition an Open WW ticket to Closed and there is no transition tool, so step 5 of merging-dependabot-prs now hands the ticket over for manual closing as Fixed (first seen on WW-5755). Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

Step 5 of
merging-dependabot-prsclosed the ticket withjira_update_issueand{"status": "Closed"}. On an Open WW ticket that fails: "Could not find transition to status 'Closed'. Available transitions: Resolve Issue, Close Issue". The status name"Resolved"and the transition name"Resolve Issue"fail the same way.Passing the transition id works:
{"status": "5", "resolution": {"name": "Fixed"}}moved WW-5755 (landed via #1979) to Resolved / Fixed. Step 5 now uses that call, and the twin-PR paragraph says "resolve" to match.Documentation-only change; no ticket. Squash on merge — the first commit on the branch (manual hand-over) is superseded by the second.
