Most Agents only support resuming a session in its original directory, and the SHOULD left undefined what an accepted different
cwdwould mean forSessionInfo.cwd, thesession/listfilter andadditionalDirectories.On v2 session-setup (stable and draft) and the
ResumeSessionRequest.cwdRust/schema doc, Clients MUST now send the session's working directory onsession/resume, and Agents MAY reject a different one with-32602. Agents may still normalize paths when comparing. This makes session-list's "
cwdis immutable after session setup" and theadditionalDirectories"as long as the requestcwdmatches" condition consistent without further changes. v2 only.
