   Implementation Status

   The plotly implementation for area-basic already exists on the plot/area-basic feature branch.

   File: plots/plotly/scatter/area-basic/default.py

   Test Status: ✅ Passed - implementation runs successfully and generates plot.png (415KB)

   The implementation uses:

   • plotly.graph_objects.Scatter with fill='tozeroy' for area chart
   • Python Blue color palette (#306998)
   • Proper axis labels and title
   • 4800×2700px output resolution

   Since the implementation is already on the base branch, no PR is needed.
