A Gallery handler change still selected an entire historical Pelican group across five packages. Replace prefix-based selection with exact source-to-test mappings: Gallery selects its single handler contract, while deletion/background persistence and migrations 279/281 select their corresponding integration contract. Shared inputs without sufficient coverage now fail classification rather than trigger a feature-wide suite or pass with race-only coverage.
Validation: seven added or directly affected offline classification/runner fixtures passed; the four changed Python files passed syntax/static checks and diff formatting. Read-only review confirmed Gallery no longer selects observation, candy or runner tests. No business, database, race or model tests were executed locally. Protected check names and workflow behavior remain unchanged.
