AdonisJS REST API

A REST API project built with AdonisJS 4 as part of my backend-development work. The repository is kept as a portfolio reference for Node.js API development and development-tooling practices.

Status: Historical portfolio project. The AdonisJS and dependency versions reflect the period in which the application was built and should be reviewed before using this code as the basis for a new production service.

Development Tooling

The repository includes tooling for consistent local development and commits:

Getting Started

git clone https://github.com/EngelReyes23/AdonisJS-RestAPI.git
cd AdonisJS-RestAPI
npm install
npm run dev

The development server uses the AdonisJS CLI and normally starts on the port configured by the application environment.

Available Commands

npm run dev       # Start the Adonis development server
npm start         # Start the Node.js server
npm test          # Run the Adonis test command
npm run lint      # Run StandardJS fixes
npm run format    # Format the repository with Prettier
