Description

Documents Ingestion Health, a DefectDojo Pro beta feature for Upstream Connectors, behind the Ingestion Health feature flag.

A Connector whose Syncs keep succeeding while importing no Findings is compared against its 30-day baseline: the median number of Findings per Sync, once it has at least three Syncs. When it goes quiet against a baseline above zero, its tile on Connections > Upstream says how many Findings it usually returns, and users who can edit Connectors can acknowledge the quiet period with a reason. The next Sync that imports anything resolves it. Nothing pauses a Connector.

What changed

  • New page docs/content/connectors/upstream/ingestion_health.md: what the tile shows, how the baseline is computed, acknowledging an anomaly, how it resolves, notifications, and turning the flag off.
  • docs/content/connectors/upstream/manage_operations.md: the Zero Results section links to the new page.
  • docs/content/admin/notifications/about_notifications.md: the Connector Health Warning's zero-results bullet links to the new page.

English only; the language copies are translated automatically.

Add the Ingestion Health page (a Pro beta feature): how a connector that
keeps syncing with zero findings is compared against its 30-day
baseline, acknowledging the anomaly with a reason, how it resolves, and
the notification. Link it from Managing Operations and from the
Connector Health Warning section of the notifications page.

Only a sync that imports findings resolves an anomaly; mapping a new
record or ignoring a quiet one does not. Describe what happens when
someone else acknowledged the anomaly first, and that the tooltip shows
the start of the reason.
